The Business Analyst role will have a direct influence on designing business processes and solutions to support business groups for platforms used by thousands of sales associates across the United States, which willultimately helpensure millions of patients will have access to our life saving products.The Business Analyst has experience contributing business analysis, design,and test activitiesto a large scale/global businesschangeor delivering small scale business changealone.The Business Analystoperateswith interactive communication,demonstratinginclusion and cultural sensitivity.

The role will partner with theCapability Lead, BusinessPartner,orotherBusiness Analyst colleagues to supportthe development of cases,assistin business processdesign,and ensure that proposed solutionsmeet established AstraZeneca quality and compliance standards and business solution needs.The Business Analyst will be interacting and working with commercial colleagues and customers directly to support and influence solutions to meet businessneeds.

The Business Analyst is expected to perform atcapable level in the following:

  • Business Needs Identification-Candidatescandrive an assessment ofbusinessneedand areas for improvement.Candidates proactively seek opportunities to enhanceand improve in line with strategic goals, proposing potential solutions through research.
  • Business Analysis Planning -Candidatesare capableincharacterizinga solutionorinitiative'scomplexity, risks, known assumptions,constraints,anddependencies.Candidates are proficient in prioritization and recommendingappropriate approaches.Candidates are capableof planning,sequencing,and coordinatingactivities to meet work and deadlines.

  • Solution Evaluation-Candidatesassess solution proposals and articulatesupporting arguments for a recommended solution.   • IT Delivery -Candidates collaborate withITarchitecture,delivery,andsupport/operationsto ensure clear understanding ofallrequirements and effective testing.sothat the solutions delivered to the business are efficient and effective, meetingthe customerexperienceexpectations.

Candidates work multi-functionally with or take responsibility forthe following roles:

  • Project Managers/Scrum Lead - Candidates can work closely with this role to set the right expectations on timeline for business solution delivery. Candidates will ensurerisks are tracked and communicated effectively with the correct customergroup.
  • Test Lead-Candidatescandefine the testing approach and the components of testing to ensure traceability ofrequirements and effectiveness of overall solution.
  • Organizational Change/CommunicationsLead- Candidates canensurethe Organizational Change and Communications plansaccording tothe Customer Analysis
  • Business Partners/BRM - Candidates will work closely and support business partners/BRMs toevaluate, design and communicate business process changes, business solutionoptionsand considerations to customergroups.

Education, Experience,Skills,and Capabilities

Essential:

  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience, including demonstrated work as a Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience ofusingcurrentbusiness analysis toolsandtechniques to design and deliver businesschange.
  • Strong engagement, communication and facilitation skills includingstoryboarding,presentation andinfluencing skills
