Redwood City, CA โ€ข On-site

Job description

Dyna Robotics builds general-purpose robots powered by a proprietary embodied AI foundation model with top-in-industry generalization and real-world performance. Already deployed with customers across multiple industries, our robots do commercial-grade work in the physical world. Our team comes from Google DeepMind, Meta, and Cruise, and we're backed by CRV, First Round, and other leading investors.
The Role
We are looking for a high-agency, low-ego generalist to act as a force multiplier across our business and operational functions. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in the "gray area" by stepping in wherever needed to keep projects moving, customers happy, and internal operations seamless.
The scope of this role evolves weekly. You won't just be a witness to growth; you will be the glue that ensures our execution matches our ambition.
What You'll Do
  • Drive Key Initiatives: Lead day-to-day business operations and spearhead strategic projects that do not yet have a permanent home.
  • Bridge the Gaps: Identify operational bottlenecks and step in to unblock teams, ensuring cross-functional alignment between engineering, product, and sales.
  • Customer and External Success: Support customer deployments (including occasional site visits) and manage relationships with vendors and external partners.
  • Operational Rigor: Handle a diverse mix of analytical tasks, contract reviews, and resource planning to support executive decision-making.
  • Execute at Scale: Manage the vital work of a fast-growing startup, from vendor negotiations to high-level prioritization.
Who You Are
  • 2+ years of experience in Investment Banking (required), ideally followed by 2+ years in BizOps, Chief of Staff, or a similar high-growth startup role (preferred).
  • High Agency: You do not wait for a playbook. You are comfortable jumping into unfamiliar problems and figuring them out from first principles.
  • Execution-First: You prefer "doing" over "observing." You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess a relentless sense of follow-through.
  • Strategic Communicator: You can distill complex problems into actionable plans and communicate effectively with everyone from site managers to the Board.
  • Generalist Mindset: You enjoy the variety of working across multiple business units and prioritize solving the company's biggest needs over narrow specialization.

At Dyna Robotics, we build technology for the real world, which requires a team as diverse as the environments our robots inhabit. We are an equal opportunity employer committed to technical rigor and mutual respect.
Don't let a checklist stop you. Data shows that underrepresented groups often only apply if they meet 100% of the criteria. We value problem-solving and grit over keyword matching. If you're passionate about the intersection of geometry and robotics, we want to hear from you-even if you don't check every box.
