ABOUT THE TEAM
The Specialist role will report into the Manager position and will be a part of the Account Management & Operations Team. This team works collectively to enforce Salesforce utilization and ensure budget and revenue delivery, with clear communication across various investment teams and clients.
Responsibilities
ABOUT THE ROLE
The expectations for this role fall into 3 key categories:
1. Developing Teams & Talent
- Manages and contributes to training of Sr Associates/Associates on their team
- Reviews and supports goals of Associates
- **Develops, maintains, and delivers Salesforce onboarding and training materials across the teams**
- **Acts as a Salesforce subject matter expert to internal stakeholders**
2. Delivering on Our Value Proposition
- Develops and maintains strong working relationships
- Understands portfolio offerings and can identify opportunities, participating by bringing forth proactive solutions
- Can execute process with minimal oversight and high degree of accuracy
- **Partners with Investment and Account Management teams to understand reporting needs and build tailored dashboards and reports**
- **Drives adoption and optimization of Salesforce processes to enable data-driven decision-making across the business**
3. Managing Business & Operations
- Manage relationships across all teams at APEX
- Ability to troubleshoot and/or escalate when issue arises.
- Create and maintain Salesforce dashboards; build and edit reports
- **Leads discovery and collaboration sessions with Investment and Account Management teams to translate business needs into Salesforce solutions**
- Point of escalation for Salesforce platform issues and requested edits; work in close collaboration with internal Salesforce development team
- **Owns the Salesforce development process end-to-end: creates and manages tickets, prioritizes backlog, tests deliverables, and signs off on builds in partnership with the dev team**
- **Manages the relationship with developers to ensure delivery alignment, quality, and ongoing innovation**
- Create process guidelines for various teams to ensure data accuracy in reporting
- Ensure consistency and alignment on SFDC usage across teams for: pipeline management, deal maintenance, proper use of fields requirements, etc.
- **Partners with Global Operations on quarterly Excel-based reporting processes **
- Strong pulse on overall pacing, revenue and extraction by channel and client
- Flag issues and outliers with respective teams to resolve
- Standardize Onboarding experience for all new joiners (and pre-hire collateral (ie. job descriptions) to ensure teams are set up for success
- Work with finance to identify gaps between monthly/quarterly forecasts and pacing
- **Maintains data integrity within Salesforce by partnering with team leads to proactively audit records**
- **Continuously evaluates ways to improve efficiency in Salesforce workflows and reporting processes, bringing forward automation or process enhancements**
Qualifications
TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS
We value diversity of thought and experiences at APEX! If you learned about media from the sales or agency side, that's great but we do need folks with advanced level of understanding of how media investment works.
- 3-5 years of experience with advanced knowledge of media is critical for success in this role
- Diverse backgrounds and experience are welcome including Agency Planning/Investment, Media Sales, Consulting and/or Media Client Side
- Advanced knowledge of Salesforce and MS Office Suite (**must be proficient in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and large dataset manipulation**)
- **Experience with data analysis and creating executive-ready reports and visualizations**
- **Experience managing technical projects, especially Salesforce feature delivery or integrations, is a strong plus**
- Strong media financial acumen is mandatory
- Business financial acumen is preferred
- Advanced understanding of the media landscape

Compensation Range: $73,910.00 - $116,380.00. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
