Position Summary:
The OperationsAssociate will apply analytical and project management skillsto the on-going managementof inforce policies.  This position does not requireinsurance industry experience, but a candidate must be comfortable in not onlystructuring and managing projects, but also analyzing dataand facilitating solutions in different subject areas.  Acandidate can expect to grow knowledge in the following: 
Life, Annuity, and Long Term Care (LTC) products 
All aspects of insurance operations such as policy owner services, claims, actuarial, regulatory reporting and compliance, accounting, and financial reporting 
Role Responsibilities:
In Force Management: applicable to on-going managementof insurance policies (70%) 

Determine frequency and content of financial and non-financial reports, analyze results, identify key trends, and troubleshoot problem areas/mitigate risk 
Collaborate with partners to establish or refine policies and procedures that define the necessary aspects of administration 
Contribute to internal and external reporting and presentations (e.g. Board reporting) 
Assist in the general oversight of third parties that provide operational services 
Assist in monitoring Service Level Agreements and other operational aspects for in force management activities 
ProjectManagement:  general responsibilities applicable to all project-basedwork (30%) 
Break-down high-level scope into the applicable work items across multiple disciplines and organizations 
Define project scope, goals, and approach in collaboration with key contributors 
Establish project plans including milestones, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables 
Manage the entire project lifecycle through tracking, analyzing, and mitigating risks and issues 
Communicate and manage project expectations to owners, sponsors, team members, and other stakeholders in a clear and concise fashion 
BasicQualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of working experience in a fast-paced operational environment, demonstrating strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
High proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel 
Excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation, and presentation skills 
Exceptional ability to simultaneously track, prioritize, and organize multiple projects and tasks  
Experience in life insurance preferred
Ability to query and manipulate large sets of data from disparate sources preferred
Understanding of basic aspects and tenets of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) preferred
Experience with Extract Translate Load (ETL) projects such as data conversion and data integration preferred
Experience with project planning software preferred
Required Education /Certifications:
Bachelor's degree preferably inthe field of finance, business administration, or computer science

Basesalary/hourly rate range for this position in Connecticut is between 70,000and 95,000 Please note that specific compensation decisions are based upon avariety of job-related factors as permitted by law, including geographiclocation, credentials, skills, education, training, and experience.
Base salary is just one component of Wilton Re's total compensationpackage for employees. Additional compensation includes annualperformance-based bonus, 401K with employer contribution, and profit-sharingprogram. Employee may also be eligible for long-term incentives. All incentivesand benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
