Socket Fiber is expanding fast, and we're not just growing our network-we're building the next generation of sales leaders. In this role, you'll work face-to-face with small and medium-sized businesses, introducing them to our fiber-powered internet and communications solutions. Location: This is a field-based role in the Columbia, Missouri market. Daily 8 AM virtual meetings followed by territory work during business hours.


What You'll Do

Key responsibilities include:

  • Own your local territory by generating leads through door-to-door prospecting, networking, and consistent follow-up with small and mid-sized businesses.
  • Make an impact by introducing decision-makers to the value of Socket Fiber's business services.
  • Assess customer needs and deliver tailored solutions using Socket's full suite of business products, including Broadband/Dedicated Internet, Voice Services, and Cloud-Based Phone Systems (UCaaS)
  • Hit your numbers by meeting or exceeding monthly sales goals and key performance benchmarks.
  • Stay organized by managing your pipeline in Salesforce and following up regularly to close opportunities.
  • Keep learning through daily sales calls, team check-ins, training sessions, and development opportunities.
  • Be the face of Socket in your market-maintain a professional presence and always represent the brand with integrity.
  • Work smart and efficiently, making the most of your time in the field. Mileage is paid, so use it wisely.
  • Pitch in as needed and be ready to take on additional duties that help the team grow.
