Clinic Business Manager / Care Coordinator - Physical Therapy

Job Type: Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week |Monday-Thursday 7:00am-5:00pm; Friday 7:00am-11:00am
Pay: $21.00–$27.00 per hour (Based upon experience)

Are you an experienced medical front office professional ready to take the next step into a leadership role? Baton Rouge Physical Therapy is seeking an organized, dependable, and patient-focused Medical Office Manager / Care Coordinator to lead daily front office operations and help create an exceptional experience for our patients.

This is a great opportunity for someone with medical or physical therapy front office experience who enjoys working with patients, coordinating a busy clinic, supporting a team, and keeping daily operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
  • Oversee daily front desk operations, including patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, referrals, and workflow coordination
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients in person, by phone, and via email
  • Verify insurance benefits and obtain required authorizations
  • Collect co-pays and co-insurance and follow up on outstanding patient balances as needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient information in the EMR system
  • Supervise and support front office team members and assist with training
  • Help ensure front office responsibilities are completed accurately and efficiently
  • Coordinate with clinic leadership and the Billing team regarding collections, reporting, and front office operations
  • Maintain an organized, professional front office environment
  • Monitor and manage clinic supply inventory
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
  • Perform other duties as assigned and pitch in wherever needed to support our patients and team

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of front office experience in a physical therapy or medical office
  • Experience with medical insurance verification and authorizations
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
