Job description

Summary: The Landscape Manager will lead our landscape operations and crew. Must have strong leadership skills, proven experience in crew supervision, and a solid background in irrigation systems, plant health care, and land management. A customer-service mindset and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members is essential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead a team of grounds crew members in daily landscaping and maintenance tasks
  • Develop and manage a routine schedule for mowing, trimming, irrigation, fertilization, pruning, mulching, and seasonal clean-up
  • Maintain and troubleshoot irrigation systems to ensure optimal functionality
  • Monitor plant, turf, and tree health; apply or coordinate pest and disease control treatments as needed
  • Serve as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding grounds-related needs or concerns
  • Source and procure landscaping materials (mulch, plants, tools, etc.) within budget
  • Maintain and manage landscaping equipment, ensuring all tools are safe, serviced, and accounted for
  • Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and company policies
  • Assist with long-term landscape planning and improvement projects
  • Provide training, performance feedback, and leadership to crew members

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead a team of grounds crew members
Education and/or experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree or 3+ years of experience managing a landscape/grounds crew
  • Strong background in irrigation systems, horticulture practices, and grounds maintenance
  • Proven ability to manage labor, schedules, and landscape material procurement
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Customer-service oriented with a professional demeanor
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work outdoors year-round and perform physical tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs, equipment operation, etc.)

  • Bilingual preferred
