ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Promote theFS/GROWMARK System open positions and increase company awareness on campus.
    Deliver presentations to various schools and campus classes, organizations, diversity groups, and clubs informing students and faculty/staff of potential career opportunities.
    Regularly visit or hold virtual meetings with campus career centers to build relationships.
    Develop communication plans to educate students on FS/GROWMARK System career opportunities.
    Represent the FS/GROWMARK System at events on campus or virtually.
  • Utilize social media and networks to market and recruit students for internships.
  • Assist with sourcing candidates for internship employment opportunities.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be pursuing an agriculture-related or business-related degree at a 4-year university.

Prior GROWMARK internship program experience required.

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record. 

Proven professional communication, persuasion, and presentation, skills.

Demonstrated planning, organization, and time management skills.

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
