Job Title: Business Intelligence Developer Location-Type: Onsite hybrid in Tampa, FL - Must reside permanently in FL currently, relocation not considered at this time Start Date: 9/21 Duration: 6 months Compensation Range: $66/hr - $78/hr Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, and 401K Visa Sponsorship: Not eligible for visa sponsorship Job Description: The client is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to design and maintain dashboard and reporting solutions that empower business leaders to make confident, data-driven decisions. Job Summary Design, develop, and maintain interactive BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations across multiple data sources and business systems Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business questions into clear, intuitive reporting solutions Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data supporting accurate KPIs and business metrics Build data models, calculations, and KPI frameworks that reliably reflect organizational performance Validate dashboard data, troubleshoot reporting discrepancies, and improve performance and usability of existing reports Automate recurring reports and reduce reliance on manual reporting processes Train and support end users on dashboards and self-service reporting tools, documenting data sources, logic, and definitions Minimum Requirements: 3 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, dashboard development, or a related field Hands-on experience with a BI and visualization platform such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Qlik Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases Experience building dashboards, reports, data models, and KPI frameworks Demonstrated ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical reporting solutions Strong understanding of data visualization and dashboard design best practices Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, AWS, or Google BigQuery Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data integration tools Knowledge of dimensional modeling, data warehouses, and semantic models Experience with DAX, Power Query, Tableau calculations, or comparable BI technologies Familiarity with Python or another data-analysis language Experience working in an Agile or cross-functional team environment
