Position: Business Intelligence Developer (Financial Systems)

Location: Tampa FL

  • Schedule Hybrid (3 days onsite/2 days remote)

Duration: Direct hire

Salary: $110k - $120k / year (based on experience)



Required Skills & Experience

  • 4-6+ years of experience in business intelligence, reporting development, SQL-based analytics, or financial systems support
  • Multi-system data integration experience
  • Advanced SQL development (T-SQL, stored procedures, views, functions, query tuning, and database troubleshooting)
  • SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • PowerBI or Tableau for dashboard development, report building
  • SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) - developing & maintaining SSIS packages and ETL processes
  • ETL/ELT process development and support using SSIS
  • Knowledge of financial systems & concepts, including ERP systems, General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable/Receivable (AP/AR)

A Client of Insight Global is seeking a Financial Systems Business Intelligence Developer to join their team in Tampa, FL. In this role, the Financial Systems Business Intelligence Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting business intelligence and reporting solutions that drive data-informed decision making across the organization. This individual will write and optimize SQL/T-SQL queries, build and maintain SSRS reports, develop ETL/ELT processes using SSIS, and create Power BI dashboards to deliver meaningful insights from operational and financial data. The role also involves partnering with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements, troubleshoot data and reporting issues, improve existing reporting processes, and deliver scalable analytics solutions that support ongoing business intelligence initiatives.
