We are seeking a versatile, well-rounded Business Intelligence amp; SCM Analyst for a global electronics leader in Plano, TX. This role goes beyond traditional data querying and technical reporting—it requires a strategic thinker who can analyze complex operational data, extract meaningful business insights, and formulate actionable next steps for leadership. Acting as a bridge between supply chain, marketing operations, and sales planning, the ideal candidate will synthesize cross-functional data to optimize inventory availability, track promotion ROI, and drive operational decision-making.
Top Skills
  • Insight Generation amp; Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to translate complex operational data into strategic business insights, root-cause analyses, and executive recommendations.
  • SCM amp; Operational Analytics: Strong foundation in demand forecasting, CPFR processes, product allocation, and supply chain logistics (over purely financial modeling).
  • Cross-Functional Execution: Excellent bilingual coordination skills to align daily operations with global headquarters, logistics partners, and internal business leads.
Key Responsibilities
  • Data Insights amp; Strategic Decision Support: Move beyond basic report generation by interpreting weekly/monthly KPIs, identifying underlying business trends, and proposing concrete action plans to management.
  • SCM amp; CPFR Operations Support: Drive the daily CPFR process by tracking product arrival schedules, diagnosing variances between actual sales orders and demand forecasts, and mitigating inventory bottlenecks.
  • Marketing amp; Program ROI Analysis: Evaluate promotional investments and marketing approvals; conduct thorough post-mortem analyses to measure program efficacy and optimize future commercial spend.
  • Operations amp; Issue Escalation: Partner closely with HQ and cross-functional teams to resolve daily operational challenges regarding production allocations, delivery schedules, and inventory tracking.
  • Ad-hoc Business Intelligence: Respond rapidly to time-sensitive executive inquiries with structured data summaries, narrative insights, and risk assessments.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or a related quantitative/business field required.
  • Experience: 3–8 years of progressive experience in business planning, supply chain analytics, logistics, or operational strategy (5+ years strongly preferred).
  • Industry Background: Prior experience within the telecommunications, consumer electronics, or wireless industry is highly desired.
  • Technical amp; Analytical Proficiency: Advanced MS Excel capabilities (data modeling, scenario building, forecasting, pivot tables) with a demonstrated ability to derive context from metrics.
Core Competencies
  • Well-Rounded Problem Solver: Ability to connect operational dots across supply chain, sales, and marketing without getting bogged down strictly in financial accounting or pure IT coding.
  • Proactive Self-Starter: Comfort navigating ambiguity, defining tasks independently when objectives are loosely structured, and taking ownership of end-to-end assignments.
  • Executive Communication: Concise oral and written bilingual communication skills to synthesize data into high-level executive summaries and action items.
  • Integrity amp; Accountability: Highest discretion when managing confidential corporate datasets, commercial strategies, and inventory forecasts.
