Senior Business Intelligence Analyst
Location: Merrifield, VA, Winchester, VA, or Pensacola, FL (Hybrid)
Role Overview
This role supports Digital Business Intelligence and analytics by measuring the performance of new digital enhancements and stewarding mobile, online, and employee-facing product experiences. You will provide quantitative and qualitative data analysis, reporting, and insights to support business decisions. The position requires working independently to interpret complex business challenges and provide recommendations that improve digital experiences and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, aggregate, and analyze data from multiple sources to drive insights into digital performance and business outcomes.
  • Communicate findings to stakeholders and provide strategy recommendations for optimizing digital performance.
  • Develop and manage advanced reporting, dashboards, and BI solutions.
  • Tell a story with data through executive presentations by extrapolating insights from dashboards.
  • Establish key metrics that drive business impact and measure that impact by analyzing pre- and post-period data to determine lift and change.
  • Evaluate new digital enhancements by defining success measures, monitoring performance, and identifying opportunities.
  • Identify and interpret trends across digital journeys and prepare reports and data visualizations.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, keeping teams updated on progress and obstacles.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or digital analytics.
  • Advanced skill with SQL and Power BI (or similar tools like Tableau).
  • Advanced skill using statistical methods, mathematical techniques, forecasting, and root cause analysis.
  • Advanced skill with data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Advanced knowledge of reporting and dashboarding best practices, data storytelling, and data visualization.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence business partners and translate complex analysis into clear recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with Databricks, Adobe Analytics, LLM, or AI.
  • Familiarity with the Agile framework.
  • Experience supporting mobile, online banking, digital product, or employee-facing technology analytics.
  • Experience developing dashboards, scorecards, funnel analysis, or journey analytics.
