  1. Extract, analyze, and report on AMS data to support membership, program, event, and revenue reporting for staff, leadership, and the board.
  2. Track membership trends - including acquisition, retention, renewal rates, and engagement patterns - and develop reports that identify at-risk members, lapsed segments, and high-potential prospects to support recruitment and retention strategies.
  3. Partner with operations staff to resolve data issues, ensure consistent field usage, and identify opportunities to leverage AMS data more effectively across departments.
  4. Support the information technology team in data migration, audits, and cleanup initiatives as needed.

Marketing, Social Media & Branding Analytics
  1. Track and analyze performance across all digital channels - PPC, display, email, social media, and web - reporting on KPIs including conversion rates, ROAS, engagement, reach, and follower growth.
  2. Build and maintain dashboards; conduct A/B testing and funnel analysis to optimize campaign structure, keyword opportunities, and audience targeting.
  3. Monitor website traffic and user behavior; benchmark brand and social performance against peers; identify audience segmentation opportunities.
  4. Provide early warning tracking on email performance (opt-outs, deliverability, engagement trends) and ensure data accuracy across all marketing platforms.

Research and Publications
  1. Support data needs of innovation and research team as needed.
  2. Integrate survey and other research data into ICMA's overall business intelligence processes.

Business Intelligence Needs
  1. Meet with internal stakeholders to identify BI needs and deliver reporting solutions that produce actionable information for operational and strategic decision-making.
  2. Support tracking and reporting on the organization's strategic roadmap, including progress against goals, milestones, and performance indicators for leadership and board reporting.
  3. Identify trends, anomalies, and emerging patterns in organizational data and proactively communicate findings to relevant teams.
  4. Assist in budget development and tracking program-related income and expenses.
