A Senior Manager, B2B Integration Technology is responsible for the planning, execution and customer experience for our product and service offerings on our business platforms. Proven experience with demonstrated success managing customer-facing business initiatives from conception to implementation to delivery with quantifiable results is required.

This position will implement a strategic roadmap for our product and service offerings that outlines key functional capabilities to be invested and pursued that maximize sales and customer experience. Works cross-functionally in a matrixed team environment within Product and Tech, IT, digital marketing, core business teams and our global platforms leadership team to deliver and share results.

This role owns the technical strategy and roadmap for our B2B integration platforms, including customer punchout and eProcurement connectivity, EDI transaction processing, and integrations with third-party ERP/procurement systems such as Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, and SAP. The incumbent partners with enterprise customers and their procurement platforms to deliver seamless, scalable B2B ordering and integration experiences.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Guides the team in overall technology design activities; Grow the team in terms of knowledge and understanding of the systems and best practices; Overarching people management responsibilities include hiring, goal setting, performance management, coaching, training, and development. Fosters growth and skill acquisition.
  • Work closely with business partners and customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions. Responsible for project estimation and execution plans.
  • Partners with product managers, UX designers and researchers, technical architects, business owners, and testing teams.
  • Manage project timelines and budget, responsible for application/system, including scopes, timelines, dependencies and deliverables; Assign work to resources and responsible for the allocation and movement of resources from project to project. Work with the team in the follow-up of the execution of the project.
  • Be the point person for escalations and serve as the domain expert of your area. This is essential for on-call situations and escalations, as well as knowing the functionality and constraints of the system when defining product specifications.

Education and Experience:

  • Level of Formal Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Area of Study: Computer Science, Information Systems, Business
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 6
  • Type of Experience: 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Technical Competencies & Information Systems:
    • B2B Integration: Strong working knowledge of B2B integration technologies and standards, including cXML, EDI (ANSI X12 and/or EDIFACT transaction sets such as 850/810/856), and punchout catalog integration (PunchOutSetupRequest/Response, cXML and OCI protocols).
    • 3rd Party ERP & Procurement Platforms: Experience integrating with and supporting third-party eProcurement/ERP systems such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle Procurement Cloud, Jaggaer, Workday, and similar marketplace/network platforms.
      Integration Architecture: Familiarity with API design (REST/SOAP), middleware/integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, webMethods), message queuing, and B2B trading partner onboarding, mapping, and testing (VAN, AS2, SFTP file transfer).
    • General Technical Systems: Working knowledge of eCommerce platforms, order management and catalog systems, and enterprise data exchange best practices; ability to troubleshoot integration/transaction issues in partnership with engineering teams.
  • Skills & Abilities:
    • Analytical Skills: superior analytical skills; must be analytically capable of refining strategic, technical roadmaps and synthesizing to make improvements and recommendations. Relies on scientific findings in decision making, establishes relevant KPIs and routinely tracks them.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; regularly required to make presentations to stakeholders, and must clearly present, articulate, and defend research findings, design decisions, and formulated strategies to the stakeholders in a way that they can relate to and easily understand.
    • Interpersonal/People Skills: ability to facilitate smooth collaboration and relations necessary to be successful in this role; not troubled by complications, disagreements, and unnecessary delays. Ability to build trust among team members and convince people to follow him/her. Effective presentation skills. Exceptional relationship building skills required.
    • Leadership Qualities: Ability to continuously drive results, display a high level of confidence not just in self but in other people as well, inspire and motivate team performance. Demonstrate an ability to navigate complex situations and tasks with calmness and composure, setting an example for others. Ability to identify, attract, and develop team talent.
    • Experience with, functionality delivery from concept to deployment, as well as leveraging mobile, social, and other rich media applications to build web solutions that delight customers.
  • Language Skills: Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Personal Attributes & Other/Preferred: Advanced degree is a plus

Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule: The salary range for this role is $135,000/year to $170,000/year, however all state and local minimum wages will be complied with, resulting in a possible adjustment to the salary range displayed. You may be eligible to participate in an incentive program, paid in accordance with the Incentive Plan terms and conditions.
