Job description

What does a great Implementation Consultant do? As a Payments Exchange Implementation Consultant, you can look forward to interfacing directly with our financial institution clients (banks and credit unions) to ensure understanding of purchased product features and options, facilitate the implementation process, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Throughout the project, provides expertise to answer questions and guide the client in the use of the system.
• Work with clients to perform business process analysis and help them determine how best to use the product in their environment.
• Support the client through all phases of the implementation project.
• Create and monitor implementation timeline, work with Payments Exchange trainer to schedule and monitor training requirements and report project status to management.
• Train and consult with new and existing clients through training classes in small and large group settings, as well as one-on-one product coaching and web-ex / Internet channels.
Basic Qualifications for Consideration: The qualities that the Implementation Consultant would generally possess include the following:
  • Proven communications skills both verbal and written in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
  • Proven client-facing skills (presentation, training, facilitation experience).
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects in a fast paced environment (flexibility, versatility, dependability).
    Knowledge of industry project management best practices and how to apply that knowledge to projects (PMP is a plus but not required).
  • 2+ years' experience in the banking, credit union industry or financial software industry (wire experience is a plus).

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:
  • Preferred Associates Degree or higher in related field or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
  • Ability to understand, apply and explain concepts.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel) and operational awareness of presentation equipment (preferably using a web training tool, such as WebEx or Skype).
  • Requires human relations, team, and documentation skills with high attention to details.
  • Technical experience/background a plus.
  • Travel required: none
