Job description

The BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR coordinates projects and activities for business development services by performing the following duties. Duties may include: Manages corporate database used for research and preparation of proposals. This is to include but not be limited to: key personnel resume, project cut-sheets, master project database.

Works with branch administrators in accomplishing this task. Independently manages/prepares responses to Municipal Requests for Proposal/Qualifications (RFP/Q). Independently manages/prepares responses to Federal Request for Qualifications.

(SF 330) Coordinates research activities in relation to business development needs. This task involves data-mining/research of unknown and known municipal and federal project opportunities. Assist in management of Deltek Vision business development database.

Establishes and strengthens relationships with peers in external partnership firms. Coordinates the creation and production of business development materials. Acts as a liaison with vendors in such areas as delivering business development material, scheduling proofs, and meetings.

Compiles and produces business development reports. Tracks, collates, and maintains inventory of business development materials. Coordinates with MIS Department for SEO optimization.

Coordinates with accounting department in determining accuracy of responses to RFP/Q/SF330. Coordinates with HR department in determining accuracy of responses to RFP/Q/SF330 Coordinates trade show exhibits, promotions and participates in trade shows when necessary. Assists in the preparation for involvement in community organizations and events.

Assists in management of corporate website. Maintains inventory of photo work, artwork. Designs and prepares quarterly corporate newsletter.

Designs and prepares specialized brochures for business development services within the organization. Prepares Power Point presentations for trade shows, conventions, and management meetings (including the Board of Directors meetings).EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is required. CPSM desired and should be obtained within 2 years of employment

Proficiency with InDesign, Publisher, Photoshop, and other graphic design software preferred. Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools Experience with research methods using data analytics software Expertise with SEO/SEM campaigns Solid computer skills, including MS Office, web analytics and Google Adwords Excellent communication and presentation skills Valid Driver's License - Must be insurable by fleet insurer; driving history will be reviewed by agent and underwriter The ability to work a regular schedule of 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM Monday through Thursday and 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM Friday PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with OSHA guidelines and directives, in conjunction with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
