Job Description

As a Strategic Development Program Trainee, you will progress through a 4 phased program to learn every aspect of our business from shipping and receiving, to sales, operations, purchasing, account management and everything in between. 

Additional duties will include: 

Phase 1 -Warehouse and Customer Service  

  •  A focus on warehousing procedures, shipping and receiving, and counter support for customer transactions.  

Phase 2 – Customer Relationships and Procurement 

  • A focus on customer problem solving, relationship building with customers and vendors, and providing world class service.  

Phase 3 – Account Management and Proactive Sales  

  • A focus on business development and sourcing sales, expanding the customer base of the business and creating strong customer partnerships.  

Phase 4 – Leadership and Operations 

  • A focus on developing leadership competencies, supporting the team through coaching and mentoring, and setting vision and strategy. 

Qualifications
  • College and/or University degree
  • Positive attitude and results oriented mindset
  • Desire to continuously learn and grow
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills
  • Possess a strong work ethic and a high standard of integrity
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team setting
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, vendors, and teammates
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software

Additional Information

Salary Range - $50,000 - $55,000
