Job description

Are you excited by business development and eager to learn the world of online marketplaces? Our Marketplace team at Best Buy is growing and we are looking for two Business Development Specialists to join us. In these roles, you will help support our marketplace growth strategy by researching and identifying new sellers to join our platform.
 

The successful candidates are required to be located in the Greater Vancouver, BC area, where we practice a remote‑first working model, leveraging in‑person interactions for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.

What you’ll do:

  • Identify potential sellers in key categories through research, outbound outreach, and lead development.

  • Support the team in presenting the Best Buy Marketplace opportunity to prospective sellers.

  • Assist with early-stage onboarding tasks, including gathering seller information and reviewing catalog readiness.

  • Maintain accurate records of seller conversations and pipeline activity in CRM tools.

  • Partner with business development team members to improve efficiencies in outreach and onboarding.

  • Contribute to Marketplace process improvements and team initiatives.
     

What we’re looking for:

  • 1-2 years of experience in e-commerce, retail, operations, customer service, sales, or a related field.

  • A strong interest in business development and online marketplaces.

  • Fluent in English and Mandarin.

  • Ability to adapt quickly and learn new systems and processes.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Experience with CRM tools – Salesforce is an asset.

$50,000.00 - $55,000.00

This job is eligible for a company performance bonus in addition to the compensation range above.
