Job Description
Our client is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive new client acquisition and help fuel the company's next phase of growth. This is an opportunity to join a growing technology consulting firm that partners with organizations across the country to improve efficiency through data analytics, automation, and business systems. This role is focused on developing new business, not managing existing accounts. The successful candidate will build relationships with executives and business owners, identify opportunities, present solutions, and help organizations solve real business challenges through technology and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Develop new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and long-term relationship building
- Conduct client and prospect meetings to uncover business needs and present solutions
- Generate opportunities through cold outreach, networking events, and executive introductions
- Prepare and present proposals for project-based and recurring service engagements
- Represent the organization professionally within the business community
- Collaborate with internal leadership to develop sales strategies and identify growth opportunities
- Maintain an active pipeline and consistently achieve sales objectives
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven B2B business development and sales success in greater Kansas City market
- Demonstrated hunter mentality with a history of generating new business
- Experience selling consultative solutions or professional services preferably in a technology-related industry
- Proven success working with mid-market organizations
- Comfortable engaging C-suite executives, business owners, and senior leaders
- High integrity, accountability, and strong work ethic
- Self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, networking events, and occasional company meetings
