LOCATION: Tempe, AZ


LENGTH: 12 months, with a possible extension 


SCHEDULE: Hybrid, with two days onsite a week and the remaining days remote.


Experience Level: 1 to 3 years


Overview
The Supply Chain Data Analyst improves supply chain performance through data research, analysis, and reporting. This role develops dashboards, analytics, and automated solutions that combine data from multiple sources. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, foundational analytical skills, and an interest in supply chain knowledge. The analyst will analyze data and communicate clear findings with guidance from business and technical partners.

Key Responsibilities
•    Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and scorecards for operational and strategic decision-making.
•    Partner with Supply Chain teams and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into reporting and analytics solutions.
•    Support KPI definition and maintain performance reporting.
•    Automate reporting to reduce manual effort and improve data access.
•    Write and maintain SQL queries and data transformations.
•    Validate data quality and integrity through audits, testing, and reconciliation.
•    Deliver ad hoc analysis, executive reporting, and decision support.
•    Analyze datasets from multiple sources to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable insights.
•    Support root cause analysis and identify improvement opportunities.
•    Communicate findings to business stakeholders.
•    Evaluate analytics, business intelligence, and AI capabilities that improve analysis and decision-making.

Qualifications

Required
•    Working knowledge of Power BI, including dashboard development, data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and data visualization practices.
•    Foundational to intermediate experience with SQL and query performance optimization.
•    Understanding of relational databases and data modeling.
•    Experience developing KPI scorecards, operational reports, and business intelligence solutions.
•    Ability to translate data into clear business insights and recommendations.
•    Good analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
•    Experience validating data quality, accuracy, and consistency.
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and business audiences.
•    Proficient with standard Microsoft 365 tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred
•    Exposure to Supply Chain functions such as procurement, strategic sourcing, materials and inventory management, logistics, and supplier management.
•    Exposure to SAP ECC (or other ERP system) data, including purchase requests, purchase orders, invoices, supplier and material master data, inventory, and receipts.
•    Experience using Snowflake or a similar cloud data platform.
•    Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint, Power Automate, or Power Apps.
•    Coursework or project experience with statistical analysis, trend analysis, forecasting, or predictive analytics.
•    Interest in AI-assisted analytics and reporting tools.
