Summary of Primary Functions

Northrop Grumman Federal Credit Union (NGFCU) is currently seeking a highly skilled team player to lead in the role of a Branch Manager. In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing leadership at our Maryland and Virginia Branches. Duties include being fully responsible for the member service and sales activities, including business development, branch operations and regulatory compliance. 

With a committed focus on delivering high quality member service, the Branch Manager must bring strong leadership skills, a vision and execution strategy of excellence, and the ability to develop and implement successful strategies to further grow branch service and sales levels. The preferred candidate will be an innovative leader with the capability of improving processes and staff performance to enhance member service. Successful candidates will be able to lead a team that is excellent at providing quality member service, and promoting our products and services. This will be accomplished through planning, leading, directing, organizing and overseeing branch operations.

We are interested in candidates that are proactive, innovative thinkers. Highly motivated team members that possess a strong desire to assist our members with financial guidance in a positive and professional manner.

Position Requirements

Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree and/or completion of a CU management program or equivalent experience. Minimum of 3 years of Branch Management experience, preferably with a credit union or financial institution.

This position is a member of the Management Team and requires a results oriented leader who works well independently, and in a collaborative environment. The successful candidate must have strong leadership and team-building skills, strong written and verbal communication skills and proven problem-solving and analytic capabilities in a credit union environment. The successful candidate will have exemplary service skills, the ability to lead by example, and must possess a strong level of expertise in Microsoft Office and Outlook. Must be able to travel to Virginia branches twice a month.

Branch Manager- $89,000 to $111,000 Annually
