HumanTouch LLC is looking for an experienced Business Development Associate to manage client relations and direct business growth opportunities. Daily activities for our Business Development Associate include identifying federal government opportunities aligned with corporate capabilities, establishing contacts with potential teaming partners, qualifying teaming partners, working with recruiting to source key and non-key personnel, and aiding Growth Management in qualifying opportunities. Specifically, You will: 

  • Support pipeline management activities, including data entry, stage tracking, and maintenance of opportunity records; generate and analyze regular reports (e.g., Tactical Pipeline, Deal Nominations, Pipeline Health) to inform leadership decision-making and ensure pipeline integrity. 

  • Work closely with the Senior Business Development Manager, Growth Director, Account Executive, Proposal Manager and the full range of company staff in identifying, qualifying, and capturing opportunities. 

  • Perform both cold and warm calling to identify and engage personnel in public service to establish meetings, research and develop winning strategies to solve business problems, and close sales opportunities. 

  • Work to identify, qualify, and develop teaming partners through online research, directed data calls, and partner communication. 

  • Work with technical staff to develop account specific solutions and graphics personnel to develop pictorial representations of processes, workflows, and organizational delivery. 

Additional activities will include: 

  • Directing and coordinating the activities of Proposal Volume Leaders and numerous technical authors and consultants to produce high-quality winning proposals.  

  • Understanding and articulating requirements of government RFPs 

  • Contribute to response strategies 

  • Define proposal deliverables and see that all forms, past performance data, process figures, and staffing charts are complete; help ensure pricing is consistent with the technical solution 

  • Coordinate decision-making on which public and private sector opportunities match our capabilities 

  • Correlate our resources including senior managers, partner firms, writers, graphic designers, and administrative support to drive the process for submitting complete proposals on time 

Required: 

  • 3 years of experience as a Federal Business Development Professional in the information technology field 

Preferred, but not Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree
