Job description

Business Development Associate

Sunnyvale, CA    Hybrid / On-Site    Business Development

ABOUT NOBLE MACHINES

We're a team of builders, engineers, and operators on a mission to deploy general-purpose robots that take on the hazardous and physically demanding work - making industrial environments safer, more efficient, and more productive.

We work across manufacturing, construction, logistics, energy, and semiconductor industries. If you're driven by solving real problems alongside customers, you'll find your team here.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You'll support the early stages of the customer journey: generating interest, qualifying accounts, and guiding prospects toward understanding how general-purpose robotics can transform their operations. You'll work closely with the commercial leadership team and cross-functionally, which means your contributions are visible and your growth is accelerated.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

-    Identify and help qualify high-potential accounts in manufacturing, semiconductor, logistics, energy, and construction sectors.

-    Translate customer use cases into a compelling business case for Noble Machines' solutions.

-    Drive opportunities from qualified leads through to close, consistently meeting pipeline and revenue targets.

-   Build top-of-funnel and mid-funnel momentum through outbound prospecting - cold calls, personalized emails, and LinkedIn outreach - engaging decision-makers at target accounts.

-    Keep your pipeline up to date in our CRM, ensuring that every lead, opportunity, and interaction is tracked and current.

-    Expect to travel 25-35% of the time per quarter.

WHAT YOU BRING

-    3-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role.

-    You learn fast and think analytically - you're as comfortable digging into a business problem as you are presenting to customer teams.

-    You communicate clearly in writing and in person with customers and colleagues from varied functions.

-    You thrive in a fast-moving startup environment.

-    Experience at a robotics, AI, or frontier technology company.

NICE TO HAVE

-    Background in working with or in industrial sectors, including manufacturing, construction, energy, or logistics.

COMPENSATION & GROWTH

- The targeted base salary range for this role is $130,000 - $150,000, dependent on experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a 10% target annual bonus and competitive equity opportunities, ensuring you are fully invested in our collective growth.

-  Clear path to Account Executive or Sales Operations

-  Work in an environment where everyday you can learn something new about robots and AI

-  High-visibility role with customers

Why this role matters

You're developing the market for general-purpose robots - starting with customers. If that kind of impact excites you, we want to hear from you.

Noble Machines is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to building a team that reflects the diversity of the people and communities our technology serves. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, age, or veteran status.
