Job description

The Program Manager within the Skullcandy Product Development team is responsible for managing and driving the successful delivery of projects from conception through launch. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, ensuring product quality, and aligning project goals with the company's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Management
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Define project objectives, deliverables, and milestones in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.

Team Leadership and Collaboration
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure project alignment and success.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members to achieve project goals.

Stakeholder Management
  • Engage with key stakeholders, including executives, customers, and partners, to ensure alignment and support for project initiatives.
  • Communicate project status, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders through regular updates and reports.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and address any concerns or issues promptly.

Quality Assurance and Compliance

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of product development lifecycle and manufacturing processes in consumer electronics.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Monday.com).
  • Knowledge of quality assurance processes and regulatory requirements in consumer electronics.
