Job Summary
The Manager, Business Applications & Integrations leads the strategy, performance, and continuous improvement of our core business systems, including ERP, Manufacturing Systems, Engineering Systems, and Enterprise Applications. This hands-on leadership role oversees a technical team, guides system roadmaps, drives cross-functional alignment, and ensures seamless, reliable integrations that support operations, finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and engineering. The ideal candidate brings strong technical depth, proven team leadership, and a passion for building scalable, high-quality business application ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide leadership across ERP, Manufacturing Systems, Engineering Systems, and Business Applications teams to ensure alignment on priorities, processes, and goals.
• Own the systems roadmap and governance processes, serving as the primary liaison with key business stakeholders.
• Ensure reliable, secure, and accurate data delivery to reporting systems, BI pipelines, and analytics platforms.
• Define and maintain standards for configuration, data governance, change management, release management, and lifecycle planning.
• Analyze business processes across operational, manufacturing, engineering, and corporate functions to identify optimization opportunities.
• Support master data governance, data quality validation, and data consistency across all integrated applications.
• Partner with BI/Data Engineering and DBA teams to support structured, secure data management and system integrations.
• Lead resolution of critical incidents, coordinating troubleshooting efforts across functional and technical teams.
• Deliver training to functional leads and end users to promote strong system adoption and effective usage.
Education and Experience Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing technical teams.
• Minimum 7 years in system support, ideally with ERP implementation experience.
• At least 5 years working with ERP, manufacturing systems, engineering systems, or enterprise applications.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams or managing functional application groups.
• Deep understanding of business workflows across Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Engineering.
• Proven experience managing system enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and multi-system projects.
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Preferred experience with platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Infor, Dynamics, Salesforce, or Teamcenter.
• Preferred experience with integration platforms, APIs, and automation tools.
• PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or similar certification preferred.
• US Citizenship required.
Skills and Abilities
• Strong knowledge of integrated ERP systems and cross-functional workflows.
• Familiarity with MES, PLM, and engineering systems.
• Experience with databases, APIs, and integration frameworks.
• Knowledge of IT governance, change management, and project planning.
• Ability to manage fixes, enhancements, and an application project portfolio.
• Ability to write clear technical documentation, business requirements, and workflow diagrams.
• Strong presentation and communication skills across all organizational levels.
