Job description

Join Deloitte's Finance Transformation group as a Strategic Change Manager, driving the people and culture side of one of the firm's most significant internal programs. In this role, you will design and lead change strategies that engage, inspire, and motivate people to embrace the cultural and behavioral shifts created by our large-scale Finance Transformation program enabling a human-led, AI-powered finance ecosystem as well as other strategic Finance initiatives.

Work You'll Do: 

As a Finance Transformation Strategic Change  Manager, Strategy, Growth, and Transformation, you will:

  • Design, develop, and manage execution of fit-for-purpose change management strategies and plans for our large-scale program and other Finance Transformation initiatives, with a focus on accelerating ROI and reducing adoption risk
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative assessments, including stakeholder analysis and change impact assessments, to develop data-driven change strategies for key stakeholder groups
  • Build and manage leadership alignment plans to drive executive buy-in and sponsor engagement across Finance and business leadership
  • Develop and deliver creative communications and engagement activities in partnership with subject matter experts, change networks, and leadership to drive understanding and adoption of key changes
  • Measure effectiveness of change interventions through defined metrics and continuously evolve plans to optimize adoption outcomes
  • Regularly report activity status to program leadership; proactively escalate and help resolve risks and issues

The Team

The Finance Transformation group is an internal consulting team that supports the Deloitte CFO and Finance leadership in executing strategic initiatives. Our team currently drives a large-scale Finance Transformation program focused on redesigning Finance operations and enabling a human-led, AI-powered finance ecosystem. We identify and implement digital finance solutions, optimize organizational structures, and serve as a trusted partner to Finance leadership. Joining this team means high-visibility work with senior stakeholders and a direct role in shaping Deloitte's Finance organization for the future.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Change Management, Organizational Effectiveness, or Communications required
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in change management and/or communications related to strategic transformations
  • Demonstrated ability to design and execute change management strategies in complex, matrixed organizations
  • Limited travel required (approximately 10-20%), with the ability to work remotely when not co-locating with team or client stakeholders.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred:

  • MBA or graduate degree
  • Experience supporting ERP implementations, finance transformations, or large-scale organizational redesign programs
  • Prior experience at a top-tier consulting firm
  • Familiarity with utilizing AI tools to increase efficiency across the workstreams

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $118,700 to $218,600.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
