ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a highly analytical and business-minded Manager of Business Analytics & Reporting to join a growing restaurant organization supporting one of the industry's most recognized brands.

This role partners directly with Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Technology, and executive leadership to transform financial, operational, labor, guest, and people data into meaningful business insights that improve restaurant performance.

The ideal candidate combines strong financial and analytical skills with excellent business judgment and enjoys using data to solve problems, improve processes, and influence strategic decision-making.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Manager of Business Analytics & Reporting is responsible for developing meaningful financial and operational reporting, supporting budgeting and forecasting, building executive dashboards, and delivering actionable insights that improve profitability and operational execution.

This role works cross-functionally with multiple departments while supporting leadership through reporting, KPI development, business intelligence, and strategic analysis.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Analytics & Reporting

Develop and maintain executive dashboards, scorecards, and recurring business reports

Analyze financial, operational, labor, guest, and workforce data to identify trends and performance opportunities

Deliver actionable recommendations that improve profitability, operational execution, and guest satisfaction

Support operational budgeting, forecasting, KPI tracking, and executive reporting

Provide meaningful reporting that drives accountability throughout the organization

Business Partnership

Partner closely with Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Technology, and executive leadership

Support weekly business reporting and quarterly business reviews

Translate complex business data into practical recommendations for operational leaders

Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives and business planning

Help leadership make informed decisions through timely and accurate reporting

Business Intelligence & Data Management

Develop reporting solutions using Power BI and other business intelligence platforms

Utilize SQL and existing databases to retrieve, validate, and analyze business information

Partner with IT to improve reporting accuracy, automation, and data accessibility

Support reporting initiatives during system implementations and technology projects

Research emerging reporting technologies, AI tools, and business intelligence solutions that improve organizational performance

Financial Analysis

Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and operational reporting

Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities to improve restaurant performance

Analyze labor, sales, profitability, guest metrics, and operational trends

Assist leadership with financial modeling and performance analysis

Develop reports that help drive strategic business decisions

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred

Four or more years of experience in business analytics, financial analysis, FP&A, operations services, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, or similar analytical roles

Experience creating dashboards and executive reporting

Strong financial analysis and business acumen

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence platforms

Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases

Experience analyzing financial, operational, labor, guest, or HR data

Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and presentation skills

Ability to simplify complex information into actionable business recommendations

Experience supporting multi-unit restaurant, retail, hospitality, or franchise organizations is strongly preferred

Experience participating in cross-functional projects or system implementations is a plus

Interest in leveraging AI-enabled reporting and emerging analytics technologies is highly desirable
