Position Title:

MBA Program Director/Lecturer

Job Description:

The Richard J. Bolte, Sr. School of Business at Mount St. Mary's University seeks a full-time MBA Program Director and faculty member to provide academic leadership, student advising, and operational oversight for the Master of Business Administration program, including concentrations, certificates, and the BS/BA-to-MBA dual degree pathway. This position will also have a 12-credit teaching load within the school of business.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Advise and support MBA students from admission through graduation.
  • Review applications, transcripts, and degree plans in collaboration with Graduate Admissions.
  • Manage MBA course scheduling and coordinate faculty assignments.
  • Recruit, support, and evaluate adjunct and full-time faculty.
  • Oversee the BS/BA-MBA Dual Degree (4+1) program.
  • Collaborate with Athletics, the Registrar's Office, and Graduate Admissions to support student success.
  • Monitor academic progress, graduation requirements, and program compliance.
  • Support enrollment growth through recruitment and marketing initiatives.
  • Represent the MBA program on university committees and participate in graduate leadership meetings.
  • Teach courses (12 credits) as assigned, aligned with professional and/or academic background.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business or a related field required.
  • Experience in business, higher education, or both.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and student-service skills.

Salary Range:
The salary ranges below represent budgeted hiring averages and are provided for transparency. Final salary offers are competitive and determined based on discipline-specific market factors, qualifications, experience, and rank. In some cases, salaries may fall outside the listed averages.

$85,000 - $90,000, depending on rank assigned.
