The Business Intelligence Analyst Intern will support the implementation of analytical dashboard and the compliance documentation of the automation department, This is a hands-on role suited for students looking for tangible work experience within an organization


About the Role:

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Automation and Analytics, this team focuses on automating repetitive processes, developing production-level code, strengthening AI infrastructure, and advancing analytical systems toward more autonomous, agent-driven capabilities. The analyst partners with cross-functional teams design user-centered analytical solutions aligned with organizational goals, while monitoring and evaluating tools to ensure ongoing performance, scalability, and compliance.


Intern Schedule:  (on-site)

  • Tuesdays & Thursdays
    • 8am - 5pm CST
  • Fridays
    • 1pm - 5pm CST


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Pursuing Business Analytics, Information systems, Operations Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science, or related field degrees.
  • 0-2 years of experience in automation, analytics, operations, technical business systems, AI, machine learning, and SDLC related technology roles or equivalent coursework, certification, or practical experience.
  • Analytical projects to identify gaps in knowledge through graphical & data-driven solutions.
  • Working Knowledge of analytical tools such as:
  • Visual Analytical tools: Microsoft PowerBI, Excel, Pivot Tables
  • Database and Dashboard programming languages: SQL, DAX, SQL, FileMaker
  • ML & Advanced Analytics: Python, scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, PyPDF, Tesseract


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with Microsoft PowerBI, Excel and Word
  • Exposure to UiPath, Power Automate, Python, FileMaker, SQL or other languages
  • Experience with local-hosted AI deployment software and virtual private cloud AI endpoints
  • Familiarity with AI software tools such as UiPath, vLLM, Ollama, Open WebUI, Hugging Face
  • Certification in analytics.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Senior Manager of Automation and Analytics, IT, enterprise applications, and business units to design and deploy AI-driven solutions.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills to ensure AI within Compliance
  • Evaluate SOPs and collaborate on AI development, adoption and integration.
  • Update project timelines, scope documents and risk assessment forms.
