Our client’s Agile Digital Solutions Operating Group is seeking an experienced SAP Business Analyst to support the modernization and transformation of a large portfolio of enterprise business solutions for NASA.
This role is part of a highly collaborative team environment where complex problem solving, strong communication, and cross-functional coordination are critical to success. The ideal candidate will help drive S/4HANA transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with federal financial standards and enterprise system modernization goals. Required Qualifications:
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years of SAP experience, specifically supporting SAP Security in a Public Sector environment Core Requirements
• Ability to obtain and maintain a NASA Public Trust investigation
• Strong experience with SAP transformations and business process analysis
• Proven ability to work in complex, regulated environments Professional Competencies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
• Ability to operate effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation and process-mapping capabilities Key Responsibilities:
• Document functional gaps, process deltas, requirements, and remediation strategies
• Review SAP Simplification Items and assess impacts to NASA business processes
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and S/4HANA standardization
• Develop and maintain “As-Is” and “To-Be” process maps
• Collaborate with stakeholders to validate future-state design and ensure compliance with federal financial standards (USSGL, IPAC, GTAS, Treasury reporting)
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for configuration, development, and reporting
• Coordinate across functional, technical, and security teams to ensure integrated solution design
• Identify S/4HANA changes required for interface remediation, API adoption, and modernization efforts
• Support testing cycles by validating end-to-end functional performance across systems
• Contribute to SOPs, job aids, training materials, and documentation to support change management and adoption Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting NASA programs
• Familiarity with SAP Activate Methodology
• Experience supporting S/4HANA migrations or modernization initiatives
