Short Description

We are looking for highly resourceful and data-savvy students to join our team as interns.

The Performance Management and Improvement (PMI) team is focused on implementing business solutions and providing advanced analytical support to further optimize health system operations.

Because there are finite resources to impact patients, it is critical to efficiently distribute resources relative to each area's unit of service, this includes hospital-based inpatient, hospital-based outpatient, ambulatory, and ancillary departments.

The interns will partner with other members of the PMI team to work on a variety of analysis, platform, and modelling projects covering all facets of the healthcare delivery industry.

The internship will give you the opportunity to work on "real world" problems.

You will be involved in the entire lifecycle of project delivery and will have the opportunity to work with business leaders to define the problems and communicate the outcomes.

Experience Required

Highly proficient in advanced analytical tools (SQL /R /Python /C#)

Proficient in statistical techniques (Descriptive Statistics & Generalized Models)

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Passionate about using data to inform decision making and possess the curiosity to research and solve complex problems involving data and business analytics

Familiarity with .NET Framework

A quick learner who is willing to learn and work in a team in a fast-paced environment

Education Requirements

Currently pursuing a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science or other closely related quantitative field with GPA of at least 3.4
