Job Summary
The TCC Skills Lab is seeking a qualified Adjunct Faculty in Data Analytics to support adult learners in developing in-demand analytical skills through applied instruction, real-world projects, and guided facilitation. This role emphasizes hands-on learning, practical application of data tools, and learner support aligned with workforce readiness outcomes. Adjunct faculty support both structured instructional sessions and open lab environments designed to help learners build confidence and job-ready skills.
Essential Duties
  • Lead instructional sessions covering foundational and intermediate data analytics concepts, including data cleaning, analysis, and visualization. Guide learners in the use of industry-standard tools such as spreadsheets, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, R, or Python, as applicable to the program
  • Facilitate open lab sessions by providing coaching, troubleshooting assistance, and individualized learner support
  • Foster an engaging learning environment that supports all adult learners.
  • Provide timely feedback, coaching, and progress support to learners.
  • Track learner participation and progress in alignment with program requirements.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Two (2) or more years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or in a similar role.
  • Working experience with SQL and at least one analytics or data visualization tool (e.g., R, Python, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and learner support skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting workforce development, noncredit, or short-term credential programs
