As the Technical Business Analyst (TBA), you will play a key role in bridging the gap between product strategy, business requirements, and technical implementation. You will be responsible for defining and refining product requirements, supporting backlog management, and ensuring seamless communication between business and technical teams. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, UX designers, and stakeholders to ensure that technical solutions align with product roadmaps and business objectives to turn priorities into scalable results that drive success for both Kinective and our clients.
Requirements
What you'll own
Product & Requirement Analysis
  • Work closely with Product Managers to translate product vision and strategy into clear, actionable releases and technical requirements
  • Conduct detailed gap analysis, feasibility studies, and impact assessments for new product features and enhancements
  • Define and document functional and non-functional requirements into epics, break epics down into deliverable user stories, and partner with the technical team to craft acceptance criteria

Technical Liaison & Solutioning
  • Act as the primary technical liaison between the Product, Engineering, and Business teams, ensuring smooth collaboration
  • Work with software architects and developers to evaluate system capabilities and propose scalable solutions
  • Support API design, system integrations, and data modeling efforts for new features and platform enhancements

Testing & Quality Assurance
  • Collaborate with QA teams to define test strategies, ensure test coverage, and validate feature releases
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), working with stakeholders to validate that the product meets business expectations
  • Troubleshoot and escalate issues efficiently to ensure timely resolution

Necessary Qualifications & Competencies
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in technical business analysis, product management, or a similar role in a technology-driven company
  • Technical experience working with APIs, system integrations, and software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Working knowledge of SQL, data structures, and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
  • Familiarity with agile tools like Jira, Confluence, and Aha!
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional product environments

Pay, Benefits & Total Rewards
$75,000 - $85,000
The salary range listed reflects the minimum and maximum for this role. Individual compensation is based on experience, qualifications, job-related skills, location, and internal equity, and most offers are not made at the top of the range.
Base pay is one part of Kinective's Total Rewards package. Depending on the role, employees may also be eligible for bonuses, commissions, or equity. All employees have access to a competitive benefits package designed to support health, well-being, and financial security, including:
