About Your team
Our Solution Engineering team is a team of engineers and business analysts who are experts in risk management for financial institutions (e.g. market, credit, liquidity, portfolio). We develop ActiveViam product offering and present our solution to prospects, partners and clients (demos, PoCs, etc).
The Solution Engineering teamhas a key role in the company organization as it interactsdaily with Sales, Marketing, Product Strategy, Customer Successand R&D teams to ensure the company's initiatives translate into innovative and actionable use cases that deliver tangible value to the clients' business.
The Role
Within a team that mixes technical and business expertise, you will have the opportunity to educate ActiveViam's established portfolio of clients on the many ways to use our cutting-edge technology to address a large number of issues. The Solution Engineering team is also responsible for developing the company's offering by identifying new use cases and supporting the sales team at each phase of their relationship with their prospects and customers.
Key Duties
  • lead in defining, developing and delivering product demos arranged by the Sales team,
  • lead in capturing and organizing customer requirements through structured discovery sessions and workshops.
  • lead in facilitating communication between business and technical stakeholders,
  • contribute to responding to RFIs/RFPs with the sales team,
  • contribute to evangelizing the company's products at industry shows and maintain knowledge about the competitive landscape.
  • exploring new market opportunities and lead the development of new use cases with Atoti+ using our Java and/or Python API.
  • Identify emerging client challenges and translate them into compelling solution narratives and product roadmap input.

Your profile
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role at a software vendor (e.g. FinTech) or a financial institution, in a relevant business domain such as Risk Management.
  • Excellent understanding of financial risk disciplines across market, credit, and/or liquidity risk frameworks.
  • Passion for identifying problems, participating in solutions definition, and then wanting to persuade business leaders of the right fit of such solutions.
  • Genuine interest in technologies and how they can empower business experts to do their job more efficiently when it comes to analyzing data to drive the business.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication and presentation skills, and a track record of leading interactions with a variety of business audiences (e.g., leading requirements workshops, engaging with business leaders, etc).
  • Awareness of AI/ML applications in financial risk, including natural language interfaces for analytics and AI-assisted scenario generation is highly desirable.
  • Excellent quantitative skills and proven development experience in Python or/and Java is a plus.
  • Experience with risk management software solutions (Murex, Algorithmics, Numerix, QRM, etc) is highly desirable.
  • Travel: flexibility to travel, sometimes at short notice inNorth America but also other regions if necessary.
