Business Analyst (Techno-Functional)
Location: Jersey City, New Jersey (hybrid)
Duration: 12 months
Role Overview
This position supports the Enterprise Capital Management Technology (ECMT) function within Corporate Treasury. The role is part of a technology transformation initiative to build and adopt new capabilities for data ingestion, rules authoring and execution, and analytics. This greenfield project involves designing and developing applications to replace legacy systems and will house critical regulatory programs such as Basel IV and FRTB.
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience, with at least 3+ years as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst.
  • Experience in a delivery-focused, techno-functional role.
  • Knowledge of SQL programming, preferably with databases such as Oracle Exadata.
  • Programming experience with Python or Java/.Net.
  • Understanding of Capital Markets, with a focus on Credit Risk, Market Risk, or Capital calculations.
  • Familiarity with regulations in the Capital Markets space (e.g., Basel, CRR, CRD IV).
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to read and understand Python code.
  • Capability to run reports in MicroStrategy.
  • Knowledge of Big Data architectures and cloud computing.
  • Familiarity with machine-learning techniques, classifiers, and statistical methods.
