Role - Business Analyst

Location - Weehawken, NJ

Job Description: We are looking for a Business Analyst with experience in Data driven project and background in Capital Banking.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather, document, and manage business and technical requirements. This includes stakeholder interviews, use case development, and traceability management.
  • Model current and future state business processes, and create data models to support system design and analysis, are essential.
  • Strong critical thinking and the ability to apply structured techniques to investigate problems, identify opportunities, and propose data-driven solutions are key.
  • Work closely with developers and familiarity with the following are preferred: DevOps fundamentals, Data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Python/Pandas), Agile methodologies.
  • Clear communication—both written and verbal—is vital. Business analysts must translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language and manage diverse stakeholder expectation.
  • Business analysts will be facing off to Bankers so engagement soft skills are critical.
  • Soft skills like negotiation, facilitation, and adaptability. These help analysts navigate ambiguity, manage conflict, and drive consensus.
  • Deeply understand the needs of the Coverage, Advisory & the Capital Markets space in Global Banking and prioritize user stories to achieve business goals.

Requirements:

  • Process design and re-design including strategies to addressing challenges.
