Hiring Opportunity: Columbus Ohio
Our client is looking to hire a Mechanical Engineer for their Columbus Facility! Our client is a leader in solving air pollution control problems for a large variety of industrial clients.
Candidates would be responsible for working on all stages of our production cycles, from product improvement and design to manufacturing, installation, and evaluation.
Qualified candidates would need experience with design in fluid mechanics or thermodynamics, past mechanical engineering experience, AutoCAD, ASME Code, and a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Job Responsibilities:
-Oversee the work of contract designers.
-Designing, manufacturing, and installing components that fulfill requirements.
-Analyzing problems or deficiencies and developing solutions to resolve them.
-Conducting tests and evaluations to improve and innovate product designs.
-Creating plans and designs using CAD technology.
-Estimating budgets and time scopes for each project.
-Writing technical documentation for end users.
-Ensuring that products meet compliance regulations.
-Collaborating with project managers and other engineers in our team.
Job Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
-Experience working in the mechanical engineering field.
-Knowledge of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and other mechanical engineering concepts
-Excellent math skills: ability to apply advanced mathematical principles and statistics to solve problems
-Familiarity with CAD and other mechanical design software
-Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking skills
-Great interpersonal skills and teamwork abilities
-Effective verbal and written communication
-Commercial awareness, including an understanding of end user and market conditions
-Ability to work under pressure
