Job Title:Business Analyst / Developer

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah Hybrid

Duration:Contract

Job Summary

We are looking for a Business Analyst/Developer who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will gather and analyze business requirements, collaborate with stakeholders, and develop or support software solutions that improve business processes.

Responsibilities
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
  • Work closely with business users, stakeholders, and development teams.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications.
  • Perform data analysis, troubleshoot issues, and provide production support.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Create documentation, user stories, and process flows.
  • Conduct system testing, UAT support, and deployment activities.
  • Ensure applications meet quality, security, and performance standards.
Required Skills
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Developer, or a hybrid BA/Developer role.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
  • Experience with Java, .NET, Python, or similar programming languages.
  • Experience with REST APIs and system integrations.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps is a plus.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Understanding of SDLC and software testing.
  • Experience with data modeling and reporting.
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
