Job Description
We are looking for a Business Analystto serve as a Business Subject Matter Expert (SME) in an Agile/Scrum environment This position will be full-time and remote.
What You'll Do
  • Support the creation of an enterprise Electronic Health Record (EHR) system for the Division of Developmental Disabilities
  • Serve as a Business Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Business Analyst in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Consult with business stakeholders to identify needs and recommend technical and business solutions
  • Perform research, analysis, and problem-solving to support business and technology initiatives
  • Report to the PMO Manager
  • Consult with clients to understand business needs and propose solutions
  • Develop and document user stories
  • Create wireframes, workflows, and other requirements artifacts
  • Develop User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts
  • Execute UAT and validate application functionality
  • Resolve Tier 2 and Tier 3 support tickets
  • Conduct advanced data analysis
  • Coordinate data cleansing and cleanup activities
  • Participate in Scrum teams as a SME and/or Product Owner
  • Participate in story grooming and backlog grooming sessions

What You'll Need
Required:
  • 5 years experience with relational databases (SQL Server)
  • 5 years experience working in SCRUM environment
  • 5 years experience with AGILE/SCRUM tools (JIRA or similar)
  • 5 years experience with IT Business Analysis in an Application Development environment
  • Proficiency with MS Visio
  • Proficiency writing User Stories
  • Experience creating business and systems workflow diagrams
  • Experience creating GUI Wireframes
  • Experience writing User Acceptance Test scripts

Preferred:
  • PMP Certification

Physical Demands
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
