Job description

Industrial Forklift Operator – Production & Materials Flow

Harrisburg, OR | Full-Time

Pay: $19–$20/hour DOE (Depending on Experience)

Your day, at a glance

You clock in at our Harrisburg manufacturing site and get a quick handoff from the outgoing crew. Your first move: a pre-shift inspection of your lift truck, noting any concerns before you roll. From there, you glide through the yard and warehouse—staging materials for the next production run, loading outbound trailers, and replenishing lines so operators never wait on product. You keep the aisles clear, the racks orderly, and communication flowing with production, warehouse, and shipping. By shift’s end, you’ve helped the team hit targets safely, and your work area is spotless.

How you’ll contribute
  • Operate a forklift safely to transport raw materials and finished goods across the facility
  • Load and unload trucks with accuracy and care
  • Move lumber, components, and completed products to and from production cells
  • Stage inventory for manufacturing, shipping, and receiving workflows
  • Support shipping/receiving transactions and material verification
  • Keep inventory organized and stored in designated locations
  • Complete daily equipment checks and report any safety or mechanical issues
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and hazard-free work area
  • Adhere to company safety procedures and OSHA requirements
  • Coordinate with production, warehouse, and shipping teams to keep operations on schedule
  • Pitch in with general warehouse and production tasks as needed
What you bring
  • Previous forklift experience required
  • Background operating lift trucks in warehouse, manufacturing, lumber, or industrial settings preferred
  • Current forklift certification a plus
  • Strong safety mindset and attention to detail
  • Reliable attendance and a dependable work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively
  • Comfort in a fast-moving, physically active role; able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Willing to assist with broader warehouse/production needs
Why you’ll like it here
  • $19–$20/hour DOE
  • Full-time, consistent schedule
  • Potential for long-term employment
  • Hands-on work in a supportive, team-first environment
  • Use your forklift expertise and continue building new skills
