Description of Position: The Bus Monitor assists in the safe transport of students by maintaining order and ensuring adherence to safety protocols on the school bus.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Student Support and Supervision (75%)
  • Assist students on and off the bus
  • Monitor behavior and ensure safety
  • Support students with special needs

Communication and Reporting (20%)
  • Report concerns to driver and transportation staff
  • Maintain clear communication with school officials

Other Responsibilities (5%)
Additional duties as assigned by the Director of Transportation
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience working with children
  • Ability to follow safety protocols
