School District will train applicant for their CDL
Qualifications:

 

Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.  Must be at least 21 years of age.  The ability to meet all State Department of Transportation physical requirements.  Must hold a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with the required school bus endorsement issued by the State of Indiana.  Must have sufficient physical and mental abilities to operate a school bus or van in a safe manner.

   

Job Description:

 

Transporting students to and from school or other school related destinations in a safe manner.  Good judgment is expected to ensure safe transport.  The bus driver will work closely with the supervisory and support personnel in the transportation department to resolve concerns.  Bus driver professional specifications apply.

 


Minimum 4 hours a day - minimum 2 hours in the morning, 2 hours in the afternoon
