Job description

Position Title: School Bus Driver
Reports to: Transportation Manager
Work Schedule: 180-Day
Hours to Work: 4 to 5 hours per day
QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful applicant must:
  • be able to provide safe transportation for students;
  • have or earn a Commercial Driver's license (CDL) with Passenger and School bus endorsements;
  • be reliable and punctual;
  • pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing;
  • pass a DOT physical examination;
  • undergo motor vehicle and criminal records background check; and
  • have a great attitude!
POSITION OFFERS:
  • training and assistance obtaining a Commercial Driver's license (CDL) and/or needed endorsements;
  • opportunity for advancement from substitute to full-time driver with assigned route;
  • after assignment to a regular route, drivers are eligible for participation in health and retirement benefits; and
  • summers off!
