A Class B CDL allows the driver to operate vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 26,001 pounds or more, or a vehicle towing another vehicle not in excess of 10,000 pounds. Additional endorsements may be needed depending on the type of bus or passengers being transported.
