Job Summary

Our company provides non-emergency medical transportation to people who go to medicalย appointments and other destinations.ย Our drivers must have a validย  Driver License and preferably training in CPR and First Aid. No specific level of education is required, but a high school education is preferred.

You must be able to read schedules and maps, and you must be able to follow driving directions.
You must be able to read, understand and speak English clearly. You must have dependable
transportation that will get you to and from our facility each day. Experience in transporting people
is beneficial, and a basic knowledge of our service area is expected.

Our drivers are expected to drive buses, vans, and regular sedan cars/ town cars. Our vans/buses do have wheelchair lifts. This is a specially equipped full-sized van/bus

that has a hydraulic automatic lift for raising patients in wheelchairs into the van. The floor of the
van/bus is outfitted with special seatbelts and straps attached to the floor. These straps are used to
secure the wheelchair during transportation. Knowledge of this is not mandatory, Will be trained.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Show up to work in a timely manner
  • Drive Residents to their destinations on time
  • Assist Residents as they get into and out of the vehicle
  • Report traffic delays/route back to supervisor
  • Report any incidents or accidents to the supervisor
  • Operate wheelchair lifts as needed
  • Adhere to company policies and protocol
  • Other duties as assigned

  • The driver must be an adept driver, efficient in cruising through all traffic and weather.
  • The driver must be sincere, honest and transparent in his/her conduct.
  • The driver should take proper care of the goods while transporting and avoid any damage, loss or scratch.
