Job Description: GCSS is continuously looking for bus drivers. Please apply if you are interested! All bus drivers must begin as sub drivers. Transport students to and from school or activities safely countywide Abide by all standard policies and procedures Responsible for the safe operation of a school bus and for ensuring the safety of student passengers during routes Driver may be assigned to drive a wheelchair bus and be accessible to all schools. Requirements: Must be at least 25 years old At least five consecutive years of unrestricted driving Maintain CDL with PS Endorsements (CDL Training On-site) Please be advised extensive background checks will be issued. Typical Duties: Loading and unloading students safely Operation of all buses (Transit, Conventional, SPED Buses) Maintain order and proper discipline Maintain daily records Maintain Buses (Fuel, Cleanliness, Etc.)
