Covenant Living of Bixby is seeking a Full-time Dining Service Aide. This position is responsible for providing efficient and courteous service to residents and guests as well as performing a variety of services in both Independent & Assisted Living Dining areas. In this role, the Dining Services Aide will:
  • Set up and wait on Resident tables in a Restaurant style atmosphere setting.
  • Take Resident meal orders & continue table service throughout mealtime.
  • Bus tables, load dishwashers throughout the mealtime.
  • Sanitize kitchen & dining areas, Replace table settings each mealtime.
  • Assist Cooks with meal preps & setup of line as needed.
  • Assembling individual meals to go as needed.
  • Assuring that all shift duties are thoroughly completed before the close of each shift period.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Relevant dining experience.
  • One year experience working in a Healthcare setting helpful but not necessary.
  • Ability to demonstrate effective reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills required.
  • Full understanding and effective application of sanitation, food borne illness, and cross-contamination policies and procedures as well as the use of HACCP protocols.
  • Knowledge of dining room operational procedures and etiquette, proper small wares handling, as well as knowledge of Residents Rights.
  • Willingness to work with and interact with older adults.
  • Complete all monthly training and compliance.
  • Attend monthly staff meetings and mandatory meetings.
Certificate(s):
  • Current Food Handler's Permit is required.
Compensation Pay Range:
$12.83 - $15.40 per hour

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $12.83 - $15.40 per hour. There are numerous factors taken into consideration in determining the actual offered rate of pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and consideration of internal and external equity.
