Job description

We are seeking qualified candidates with a clean driving record and valid chauffer's license for a Shuttle Bus Driver for our Plymouth location. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) Hours are 7:00am to 4:00pm.


Personalized Nursing LIGHT House is a behavioral healthcare provider with more than 35 years of experience serving adults in substance use disorder treatment. Our mission is to be an innovative and effective behavioral healthcare corporation, utilizing the LIGHT Model of care, that strives for excellence clinically as well as administratively.

PNLH is seeking qualified candidates for an Full Time Driver position to support our substance use disorder treatment programs across Southeast Michigan. This position will be based at our Plymouth site, but candidates may be asked to provide coverage at other PNLH locations as needed.

Job duties:

Personalized Nursing LIGHT House, Inc. preference for candidates with training in, and experience with, providing trauma related services. “We take affirmative efforts to hire individuals with disabilities, including those in recovery”.

  1. Transport clients to and from housing and programs using the company-provided passenger van.
  2. Supervise client drug testing.

3. Perform apartment monitor checks.

4. Assist with moving/packing up clients as needed.

5. Assist with admissions and discharges.

6. Arrange for rides, meetings, housing, food, clothing, and other resources as appropriate.

7. Use the LIGHT Model in all interactions.

8. Other duties as assigned.

Job Type:Full-time

Pay: $17.00-18.00 per hour


Job Requirements:

  • Experience driving a passenger Van (12-16 person)
  • Ability to Climb Stairs
  • Ability to Lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Driver's License (Required). Chauffer's license required by date of hire.
  • Clean Driving Record

7am-3pm Monday-Friday
