About the Role
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Family Medical Practice at the Burke County Health Department. This is an opportunity to provide comprehensive care in a rural community setting while collaborating with a respected network of specialists.

Qualifications
Education & Licensure:
  • Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
  • Licensed (or eligible) in North Carolina
  • Board certification as required by department
Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years as an APP preferred
Skills & Competencies:
  • Clinical competency in preventive care and chronic disease management
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Proficient in medical documentation for accurate billing
