Job description

JOB SUMMARY
Perform daily course set-up functions (e.g., changing cups). Maintain turf, including performing cultural practices (e.g., topdress). Maintain bunker areas. Haul materials and remove debris using dump trucks and other machinery. Mow grass using a riding or walk-behind mower. Trim and edge grass in areas that mowers cannot reach. Operate chainsaw to cut trees and/or tree limbs. Install new flowers, bulbs, grass, trees, and shrubs.
Install, maintain, and operate irrigation systems. Operate tractors, trucks, or utility vehicles to transport equipment and supplies. Monitor property grounds to ensure a pleasant appearance. Serve as a role model.

  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report defective equipment, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals.
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
  • Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
  • Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
  • Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
  • Move up and down ladders, stairs and/or service ramps.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Attention to customer service with a professional and pleasant personality.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
