Someone you've never met before sits down beside a regular you've known for years.You handle all of them.You make cocktails correctly and consistently.You acknowledge the guest who just sat down, even when you can't get to them immediately.You recognize when someone needs something before they have to wave you down.You communicate with your barback, servers, kitchen, fellow bartenders, and managers.You keep your station clean while you're working, not just when things slow down.And when the bar fills up, you don't sacrifice hospitality for speed.You find a way to deliver both.Because volume isn't an excuse for lowering standards.It's when standards matter most.Who You AreYou've been doing this long enough to understand that great bartending is equal parts craft, awareness, discipline, personality, and hospitality.You can build a balanced cocktail.You know your beer, wine, and spirits.You understand responsible alcohol service.You can handle several guests and service tickets simultaneously without losing track of the person sitting in front of you.You don't need someone constantly telling you what needs to be stocked, cleaned, or prepared.You understand that regulars aren't created by loyalty programs.They're created because somebody remembered them.You know that being experienced doesn't mean you have nothing left to learn.You accept coaching.You communicate.You help your teammates.You take responsibility when something goes wrong.And you understand that the best bartender in the building isn't necessarily the person who knows the most recipes.It's often the person everyone wants to work beside.What You'll DoProvide genuine, attentive hospitality to every guest.Prepare cocktails accurately, efficiently, and consistently according to house recipes and standards.Serve beer, wine, and spirits responsibly and knowledgeably.Learn our food menu and confidently make recommendations.Maintain a clean, organized, stocked, and professional bar throughout your shift.Anticipate guest needs rather than waiting to be asked.Manage high-volume service while maintaining accuracy and composure.Communicate effectively with bartenders, barbacks, servers, kitchen staff, hosts, and managers.Support the people working around you when they need help.Follow all alcohol-service laws, identification requirements, and company policies.Help turn first-time guests into regulars.What We're Looking ForMust be 21 years of age or older.Minimum of five years of professional bartending experience.Professional references.Strong working knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume bar or restaurant.Strong communication skills.Friendly, confident, and approachable demeanor.Dependability and personal accountability.Ability to remain composed under pressure.Attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.Willingness to learn and accept coaching regardless of experience level.Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and Sundays.Experience Matters.
