What skills and qualifications are needed to be a building security officer?

To thrive as a Building Security Officer, you need a solid understanding of security protocols, emergency procedures, and typically a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with surveillance systems, access control technology, and sometimes security certification (such as a security guard license) is essential.
